Heineken Beer Commercial "The Date"

What an awesome ad! The only reason that I know this commercial is called "The Date" is because on the Youtube video, Heineken calles the ad "The Date". Heineken has their own channel on Youtube where the upload all of their advertisements, which is pretty handy.

This commercial has an Indian Bollywood feel to it. It shows a couple going into a party at a club. They go in through the kitchen, but apparently the man is the coolest man alive, because everyone is excited to see him. There is a big band playing a catchy song. The song is called Jaan Pehechaan Ho. The singer of the song is Mohammed Rafi.

I found the name of the song in the commercial at the Heineken youtube channel. There is a great article at Squidoo that talks about how to find the names of songs used in commercials. It gave me a few ideas about how to go about it.

This 2011 Commercial for Heineken beer is called "The Date", according to the makers of the ad. The beer commercial has a bollywood feel features a man taking his beautiful date into a club, they first go through the kitchen, and all of the cooks & staff are excited he's there. The man does some crazy chopping and slicing on his way through. There is a big band playing and assorted characters in the room. Eventually they start dancing and afterwards they both drink a Heineken and toast one another.
